Executive Summary — A literal interpretation

Here is really good example of how we can help first time entrepreneurs (at least in terms of raising money). We recently saw, through one of the local angel groups, a company apply with a founding team with great, nationally known credentials. There was no doubt about their ability to create and manage their product. An executive summary was requested and what did we get? Quite literally, a summary of just the names of the executives in the company!

That is funny at face value but it really shows how VentureStart can help. Our mentors can help those first time entrepreneurs with no experience of acronyms or terms that investors use, and guide them through the process. Since you usually only have one chance at investors, entrepreneurs can view VentureStart as an educational program with all the rehearsals needed for investor presentations, all done in a “safe” environment.
